Sunday, March 21st, 2010This song recently appeared on the B-side of the Apple Pie Bed 7 inch single, and I thought I might as well make it available here…
It was recorded as part of a soundtrack to a film called “Songs for a Dead Dog,” which unfortunately remains unfinished. The pieces for the soundtrack were recorded before the filming, and composed to descriptive directions written by two of the collaborators on the project, Brita McVeigh and Loren Horsley.
As far I can recall, the direction for this was something like “a swirling orchestra of toys,” though it was probably more poetic and evocative than that.
